and maintaining the availability of this information via the web.
The residual funds from this fundraiser are dispersed at the discretion
of the Board of Directors, which is comprised of deputies.
Is my support tax deductible?
The SCDSA is a non-profit tax-exempt organization.
However, the SCDSA is not a charity. Your support is not deductible
as a charitable contribution.
How is The Deputy distributed?
The Deputy is now available on this website. Originally The
Deputy was available in magazine form. It was delivered free of charge
to Sacramento County schools requesting copies and libraries.
Why is my support needed?
Our partnership with the community enables us to publish these
magazines via the Internet to reach more people. This partnership
will also help us continue to provide the most up-to-date information
available on terrorism, street gangs, harmful drugs and other safety
concerns for citizens.
Who writes the stories in The
Deputy?
Writers are law enforcement officers and other experts with
formal education and/or extensive experience with crime and gang
